Delicate lace, subtle beadwork, and the finest Somerset tulle combined perfectly for Britten Bride Jessica's sophisticated and elegant bridal look at her Llangollen wedding.
Wearing the luxurious Heidi Hudson Sydney dress from Wed2B, Jessica teamed the form-fitting gown with our lightly sweeping semi edged wedding veil 'Emma'.
Held at Tyn Dwr Hall in Llangollen, the Tudor-style country hall provided husband and wife photography and videography team Gemma and Lee from Lee Price Productionswith the perfect location to capture and enhance the magic and romance of the day. The dark wood staircases made the perfect stage for Jessica's extra long cathedral length wedding veil, and the hall grounds gave the ideal opportunity for stunning photographs of the bridal party.
Providing the perfect contrast against her brunette half up half down hairstyle, the veil complemented the soft but modern look created by Head Office in nearby Wrexham. Jessica's beautiful veil was secured in place with a discreet silver comb at the crown of her head, allowing the bride and her guests to enjoy the full length and lace edge detailing of the luxurious bridal veil.
Our Britten Bride accessorised her bridal outfit with simple silver drop earrings, a garter from the Wedding Garter Co, and wore natural-looking makeup in nude and soft brown tones by Annabelle Rose Make-up also in Wrexham.
Holding long stem bouquets of cream and pink roses, the bride and her bridesmaids looked absolutely stunning. Each bridesmaid wore a silver-grey gown in either a strappy or angel sleeve design, with strappy silver sandals to complete their look.
Guests didn't have far to go for the reception as they settled down to enjoy catering from Wild Garlicat the reception in the hall's light and bright Garden Room.
The five-tiered wedding cake was made by Jessica's 'amazing mum!' Julie Paton, and featured ornate pearlised designs, white ribbon, and was decorated with flowers to match the rest of the room.
Jessica described the room as 'blooming with flowers' all thanks to Serenade with Flowers in Hawarden, and for entertainment, guests either danced the night away to The Rhythm Train or gasped in amazement at close-up magic performed by Duane Paul Williams.
One of the most memorable moments for Jessica was when her twin sister read a lovely poem in honour of the married couple. Our Britten Bride also looks back fondly at the moment their 200 guests gathered outside on the terrace to light up the evening with sparklers so that everywhere 'looked so magical'.
After the wedding, the newlyweds visited Sri Lanka before travelling around the Maldives for their honeymoon.
Thanks Jessica for sharing your gorgeous photographs with us, they really made us smile, and we hope you and your husband had an absolutely tremendous day.
