Laidback low-key luxury, Real Bride Ellen is the epitome of understated elegance. Wearing an embellished wedding dress with a flowing A-line tulle skirt from Monsoon, Ellen accessorised with shoes from Accessorize and an intricate bridal headpiece made by us on her wedding day.
The small family ceremony was held in the stunning setting of the Horniman Museum and Gardens Bandstand at Forest Hill in London, with the day's special moments captured by photographer Fiona Kelly.
Ellen visited our boutique for a bridal appointment. It was here she fell in love with the gold floral hair vine Flora. To match her bridal jewellery and the overall wedding aesthetic, Luna set to work making a stunning bespoke silver halo version of the hair vine for Ellen to wear on her big day.
The delicate silver and pearl details of the hair vine accentuated the soft curls of her romantic half updo and matched the intricate beading of her gown beautifully. Ellen was joined by her two daughters who made the prettiest of flower girls in lace bridesmaid dresses, with pink floral hair vines of their very own.
After the ceremony, the wedding party enjoyed canapes at the bandstand by Suzanne James, and a heavenly wedding cake from Crumbs and Doilies.
The day after the wedding, the happy couple celebrated with family and friends with a party at their home. Unique and entertaining, guests were treated to sleight of hand tricks and surprises by the astonishing close-up magician Adam Keisner.
Thank you so much, Ellen, for sharing these beautiful images of your wedding, it looks like you had a wonderful day!
