The wedding reception was at Kirtlington Park, Oxfordshire. Cathryn planned the wedding herself and managed to get lots of personal touches in to her day including the flowers which, with the help of her family, she arranged herself for the day. Cathryn also personalised her Rainbow wedding shoes with beautiful bows.
Cathryn looked stunning in a Pronovias gown from Tilly Mint Weddings bridal boutique in Hampshire. We worked with Cathryn to create a church length semi lace edged veil using the Adela lace. The intricate lace on the gown matched perfectly with her bespoke veil.
Cathryn accessorised with beautiful hair pins and earrings with most of her pieces coming from family members for her something borrowed or lovingly bought for her by her husband. Cathryn had her hair and makeup done by makeup artist Zoe Campbell.
We loved the theme for Cathryn’s wedding, gin! Bottles of gin were used for decoration, gin miniatures were favours for the guests and G&Ts were served on the table instead of wine, what a great twist. The cake sounded particular gorgeous - gin and elderflower, made by The Pretty Cake Company.
The couples first dance as husband and wife was to their favourite song ‘Dela’ by Johnny Clegg. They then danced the night away with their family and friends, with music from the band Kickstarters.

Cathryn’s honeymoon to Borneo and Bali sounded incredible especially climbing Mount Kinabalu!
