After three months and many hours watching coronavirus briefings with baited breath waiting for when weddings were going to be allowed again, tristan.honeyborne and I finally got married on 11 July 2020. Despite firm promises to the contrary I definitely was a bit tearful during the service: it was the most beautiful service and I can genuinely say it was the happiest day of my life. There are so many people I’d like to thank, particularly seeing as we ended up having to plan the ceremony in less than three weeks (Don’t Tell the Bride much?). We were so lucky in our suppliers -rachel_movitz_photo the stunning photos, nongsmitinandflowers for the most beautiful flowers. Huge thanks to rubymay_mua as well for my make up lesson-good thing I decided to do it myself because beauticians were still shut! andrea_hawkes_bridal also deserves huge thanks for making sure I got my wedding dress pre-lockdown (my friends agreed that picking up your wedding dress definitely counts as essential travel) and for making one of the most beautiful things I have even worn. To our amazing friends and family, thank you to you all. There are too many amazing and supportive people to name everyone but a few special mentions-to lhpyper and Oliver for so diligently setting up our live stream and allowing all our other friends and family members to join the ceremony with us. jonathan_schaffer_goddard and nahetherington for reading so beautifully and emotively. helenrowland92 , for having the queen of all wedding hats, as well as always being there to give fashion advice/listen to all of my moans when things went wrong/ being a champion veil carrier. asayyadina -you are the single best maid of honour any girl would be lucky enough to have and I am so honoured to be able to call you my best friend. danish.vintage.jewellery my darling mother-if I were to list everything you’d done I’d be here forever but thank you for always being incredible, kind and helpful beyond words. Lots of love to you all from us both and cannot wait to celebrate properly in due course!!! (We promise you a party to remember 🥂🍾)
