Some of our absolute favourite real brides!
We adore every single one of our brides and nothing gets us more excited than receiving wedding pictures. There are a few brides who have a particularly special place in our hearts and we're going to share some of them below.
- Ethereally elegant, Choco wore a customised Isabella gown by Liz Martinez Bridal on her wedding day. The delicate tulle wedding dress with applique floral design was ordered from Singapore fine art bridal retailer Truly Enamoured and featured a dramatic full skirt with train, for a perfect bridal silhouette. Bringing out the true romance in her look, Choco selected our cut edge silk style wedding veil with extra long blusher 'Layla'. The layers of silk style tulle created a dreamy soft drape for an enchanting result, without adding extra volume to her bridal aesthetic. Image by Balinese wedding photographers Iluminen. - Channelling the glamour of turn of the century elegance, Georgia chose an Envy by Phoenix gown, with 1930s inspired lace and a champagne underlay, to wear as she walked down the aisle. Georgia completed the look with our cathedral length two tier delicate lace edged wedding veil 'Ada' finished with hand-embroidered bee design and personalised with the couple's initials and wedding date. She paired her unique veil with a one of a kind bespoke golden leaf hair vine, carefully handcrafted in our studio. We loved this design so much, we were inspired to create a similar version of our own with our mini statement gold leaf wedding hair vine 'Nova'. Wonderful imagery by AS Photography. You can see the full post here.
- Corina wore a gorgeous custom wedding outfit designed by Kala Noel. This contemporary bridal look consisted of bohemian inspired bridal separates including a long sleeve lacework crop top with high neck teamed with a full minimalist satin dip hem skirt. She accessorised with delicate bridal jewellery from GLDN and our barely there wedding veil 'Skylar'. The fairytale images of their special day were taken by travelling photographer Kaley from Kansas.
- On her wedding day, Brooke wore her ‘back up’ dress, a preloved wedding gown bought via Oxfam Online despite not being completely in love with it. Because she had run out of time to find ‘THE dress’, her wedding veil with extra long blusher 'Layla' was the ideal addition to her bridal wardrobe, helping Brooke to feel extra special in her exquisite ‘something new'. - Julia came in for an appointment with a very specific idea in mind for her veil. Her jaw dropping dress The Cleo Gown by Rue De Seine needed something equally special and after two appointments and many lace options later we came up with the perfect veil - a juliet cap veil edged in our delicate Millie lace finished with a pair of hand cut ivory silk flower hair pins. We also hand stitched their initials and wedding date at the side for a really personal touch. The stunning photos were taken by Nell Mallia. See the full post here.
- Hollie got married at the beautiful Allely Estate in Auckland wearing a dress by Maggie Sottero and custom shoes by Shoes of Prey. - What a wonderfully happy picture of one of our gorgeous brides! We are loving the unique style of her wedding day look. Opting for a vibrant blue long sleeve top and chic cream skirt, such a fun way to personalise your wedding outfit. For that bridal touch she has added our lace mantilla wedding veil, Adela. Also how cool do her bridesmaids look in their floral prints? Image by Lyndsey Goddard.
- Daisy & Mat were lucky enough to hold their big day in the grounds of Daisy's dads stunning house in Bagnols En Forêt in Provence. They married under stunning rustic french doors draped in olive branches and gypsophilia, this was such an effective idea that gave a real unique feel to the decor. Originally Daisy wasn't sure if she would wear a veil on the day, however she changed her mind once she tried our gorgeous cathedral length, cut edge Isabella veil, and we think she looks just perfect! - Emails and images like this really make our day! Natalie wore our two tier Saria veil. Thank you so much Maureen for sharing! "Hello Sarah, You were so kind as to make a veil for my daughter Natalie at the eleventh hour ahead of her wedding last week. We cannot thank you enough. Not only did you pull out all the stops out to make it and get it safely to us, but you exceeded expectation in producing a veil that was totally perfect and enabled Natalie to realise her dream of entering the church with it over her face. I have attached a couple photos which show Natalie wearing her beautiful Britten veil as I thought you might like to see her finished look. With kindest regards and the most heartfelt of thanks. You are an angel!" Image by Fotogenic of Scotland, see our full blog post here.
- Our beautiful bride Georgie looked amazing in our single tier lace edge veil, Ada which we think complemented her blush pink wedding dress perfectly- it's soft lace edging gave her veil such a lovely shape that didn't distract from the beautiful beading on her gown. She also finished off her wedding day look with our crystal hair vine, Maisie. Images by Rob Tarren, see the full feature here.
