Literally anything is possible yes, we'll always try and guide you to a stylish and tasteful design but beading, embroidery and lace can all be part of a sucessful custom veil.

A simple monogram and date or hundreds of thousands of detailed stitches to create a complex pattern. The choice is yours. Everything can be customised, from fonts to patterns. Perhaps you'd like draw your own design, or embroider some of your own words. Anything is possible.

We can add as much, or as little text as you like to your embroidered veil. Poetry, dates and messages are all possible.

We can be inspired by other designs but will never directly copy another design no. At Britten we protect our own designs with the UK Intellectual Property Office.

Yes you can. Many of our bespoke veils are embroidered or personalised but far from all.

You'll work directly with Sarah Jane to create your perfect veil. Whether we do this by email, zoom or a simple phone call is up to you! Click below to get started, you'll be able to book a call after completing the form.

2. The next stage is to send your fabric samples and some basic design ideas. We'll also have some ideas on embroidery and personalisation for you and broad costings.
3. With your feedback after this we'll firm up a detailed quote for you with embroidery mockups.
4. Work begins when you accept the quote and pay the deposit, 50% of the order value.
5. Most bespoke wedding veils take around 12 weeks to arrive with you. Your veil will ship on receipt of the balance.
6. Your customised wedding veil arrives perfectly packaged to keep it safe for your wedding day and with our exclusive veil hanging set. You'll have full instructions from us on how to prepare it and tips on how to look your best in a Britten wedding veil.

While we can't adjust or embroider onto veils except those bought from Britten we are delighted to incorporate elements from heirlooms into your bespoke veil.

Yes, but only if we can get it! Your dress designer may be able to help or we may be able to find it!

Yes, pearls, crystals and diamonds can all be added to our bespoke wedding veils.

Yes, we have many of our own floral designs but you could even sketch your own if illustrating is one of your skills!

Yes, we can use both gold and silver thread for your embroidery.

Britten custom wedding veils cost from £300. With the addition of precious stones costs can reach into tens of thousands but most of our bespoke veils are in the £600 - £1200 range.

We usually take a 50% deposit with the balance due just before your bespoke veil is despatched.

I'm afraid we do not offer credit terms of any kind directly for our bespoke veils.

We no longer offer in person consultations so collaborate exclusively via zoom, email and phone calls.

We accept any common debit or credit cards. We do not accept cheques or cash sorry!

Yes, all orders are shipped with tracking and require a signature on delivery.
