It isn't very often that we hear from our brides about how they met their new husbands and the gorgeous stories of wedding planning and details of the build up to their engagement and to their big day. It's very exciting information for myself to hear as I do love a good love story!
Our real bride Beth got in touch and shared some beautiful images of her big day with her new husband Mike. Their incredible story of how they met was featured within New York Times Magazine where they met in a 1 in 200,000 chance. During an event in Washington with a crowd of 200,000 people, Beth was working as a video editor interviewing members of the crowd, she bumped into Mike and their incredible story goes from there. It's definitely a story of two people who were destined to find each other.
Beth, Mike and their gorgeous Goldendoodle Bjorn started wedding planning 3 years after they met but stalled due to Beth being diagnosed with ovarian cancer after an emergency operation. However this didn't stop them planning the most amazing day of their life, the planning gave their little unit something positive to look forward to whilst Beth went through a long recovery, and the best wedding present came in at three weeks before their wedding day with Beth learning that her cancer was in remission.
Such an inspirational story of an incredibly gorgeous bride!
Beth looked radiant and the perfect bride on her big day and you can definitely tell they are a couple who are deeply in love. She wore a beautiful A-line dress with a skirt full of gorgeous tulle with a beautifully embellished bodice which wound down her sleeves. She wore a gorgeous pair of Koio Gavia Bianco sneakers in white and then finished off her bridal look perfectly with our single tier cut edge silk style wedding veil Isabella in a church length.
Thank you so much Beth for sharing your story with us and letting us hear about your special day! Also thank you too Liesl Henrichsen of PhotoPink Brooklyn for your beautiful photographs.
