Stunning bride Ceri married on a magnificent day in the Southwest of France, a day brimming with the couples creativity, personal touches and vintage influences.
''We dreamed of an al fresco wedding amongst wildflowers and overhanging trees, somewhere we didn’t have to put up too many decorations, so the natural landscape would be able to speak for itself''
Ceri's dream of an outdoor wedding led the couple to the Dordogne, france and to the beautiful Chateau la Durantie. Once the couple visited the venue they knew that their vision of a vintage chateau wedding could be achieved.

The venue's grounds were equally stunning from the long gravelled walkway bordered by wild lavender, rolling gardens, wildflower meadows and the stone cupola, perfect for gorgeous photos, the most naturally beautiful back drop for the couples perfect day.
Ceri chose a Jenny Packham dress with the most stunning detailing and embellishments. She worked with the dressmaker at the boutique, Pantiles Bride, to alter the sleeves and make it even more perfect for her.

Ceri chose a bespoke veil from us. A gorgeous pencil edge silk style veil was created based on our Ilona veil to add to her floaty, romantic, femine look. Ceri's mum then hand stitched embroidered vines and flowers to the edges of the veil taken from the spare pieces cut from Ceri's dress.
Ceri's also chose our Kayla garter to wear, a beautifully soft, eyelash lace, hand finished with a pale blue bow and a single pearl.
The couple were really devoted to creating a vintage look for their day. They were recommended Vintage Flair by their wedding stylist, Helaina Storey, for their vintage crockery and glass-wear.

The couple were eager to create a relaxed ambiance for their day and to fully immerse their guests in French culture. They did this by using local suppliers where possible from their stunning flowers, to their music - a local string quartet and the band Rix’tet.
A stunning day full of colour, music, sunshine and natural beauty all captured perfectly by France based photographer Lydia Taylor Jones.
