Real bride Lucy married Nathan in a summer countryside wedding. Looking radiant in a dreamy vintage-inspired gown, Lucy added even more romance and subtle warm tones to the wedding aesthetic with regal accessories, hints of gold, and peach and blush blooms.
Harnessing the light around the couple, photographer Jessica Raphael caught natural refined moments in her relaxed approach, achieving stylish and emotion-filled images of their special day.
Taking inspiration from Instagram profiles @utahvalleybride, @rockmywedding, and @lovemydress, Lucy chose a long-sleeved high-neck Rara Avis wedding gown with tulle skirt and lace overlay bought at Fern & Foxglove Bridal. The gown featured pearl button details at the back and skirt with a train, creating a romantic and traditional silhouette as she walked down the aisle.
Adding to her classic bridal look, Lucy's hair was styled in a low loose chignon bun by Annabell Romao Hair, natural tone makeup by Jessica Ava Makeup Artist, and shoes from Dune London.
Lucy completed her wedding outfit with our stunning bespoke embroidered drop silk style wedding veil 'Aspen' in cathedral length. Lovingly handcrafted, the beautiful veil featured embroidery of the couple's initials and the date of their wedding dayadorned with hand-embroidered green leaves, adding the perfect personal finishing touch.
'It looked incredible and was so dreamy and beautiful and I had so many compliments on the embroidery! It was so easy to wear, lightweight and comfortable that I kept it on longer than I anticipated because I just loved it so much!!'
She also paired her veil with a gold and crystal tiara from Ivory & Co, incorporating a royal influence to her wedding style.
The newlyweds tied the knot at The Mill Barns, a charming oak framed wedding barn in the West Midlands. The venue is set within eight acres of mature landscaped gardens, with mesmerising water features and the picturesque River Severn waterfront setting, providing an abundance of exquisite photo opportunities.
During the day, Lucy carried a delightful bouquet hand-tied by Worcestershire florist Jenny Fleur, who used the same colour palette to add consistency throughout the wedding venue decorations, including peonies, astilbe, stocks, phlox, sweet peas, snapdragons, cornflowers and garden roses in pink, peach, and blush tones.
The floral arrangements were also coordinated with contemporary balloons provided by luxury balloon company Fetti & Bow in Worcestershire, and the couple cut their cake by South Staffordshire cake maker Jenny Tranter.
Thank you so much, Lucy and Nathan, for sharing these beautiful images of your wedding day. We're so happy you loved your veil, and it made the perfect match for your dress. The Britten team wish you both the very best of luck in your marriage.
