Taking inspiration from Instagram, Pinterest and Rock My Wedding, fashion-forward Britten Bride Georgina planned her stunning October wedding day meticulously, spending weeks delighting in researching venues and gettings ideas for the perfect finishing touches on the day.
Georgina walked down the aisle in luxury wedding venue Millbridge Court, a gorgeous modern barn conversion just outside of Farnham on the borders of Hampshire and Surrey. The late October sunshine lifting the autumnal shades of the countryside made a glorious backdrop for photographs taken by Philippa Sian Photography, with the light casting a romantic glow on the setting and the newlywed couple.
Georgina looked absolutely breathtaking on her wedding day, with her brunette hair styled by Frayja Tedman and makeup by Ellie Parkhurst featuring a soft neutral eye with a bright lip.
She wore the delicately beaded Marcy Dress from Temperley London, a vintage-inspired wedding gown with a contemporary feel, and carried a white rose and eucalyptus bouquet by florist Jodie at Boutique Blooms in Carshalton.
She accessorised her gown with bridal shoes from LK Bennett and our off white church length barely there wedding veil Skylar. The lightweight translucency of the veil revealed the shimmering effect of the crystal beads on her wedding dress, and the length worked perfectly with her softly curled bridal updo and the train of her gown.
Adding a touch of colour to proceedings, the groom Ryan and his groomsmen wore custom made to measure suits from Hackett London in a bold blue shade with matching tie and monogrammed shirts.
'We asked for my brother and Ryan's uncle to do readings during the ceremony - we wanted this to be a surprise because we knew every detail of the wedding inside out. My brother surprised us with a reading he had written himself. The lines 'and maybe one's much shorter or is a loyal blues supporter, it doesn't matter since you know both hearts are equally aglow' summed us up perfectly! I couldn't look at him when he was reading as it was so emotional and just perfect.'
After the ceremony, the guests were treated to catering from Kalm Kitchen, finding their place to sit thanks to the most beautiful on the day stationary created by Holly at Lucky Ink and the bride herself.
The most memorable moments of the day came from the speeches by Georgina's dad and Ryan's best men, which Georgina describes as 'amazing'.
After the wedding breakfast, the couple then cut their wedding cake made by Andi Freeman Cakes. Modern and minimalist in its design, the delicious tower featured three tiers of grey-toned frosting.
And to get the party started, Georgina and Ryan took to the dancefloor for their first dance to 'It Must be Love' by Madness.
The happy couple have just come back from a mini-moon in Florence and spent their time there filling up on the three most important P's - Pizza, Pasta and Prosecco!
Thank you so much for sharing your photographs with us Georgina, the detail on your dress and the simplicity of the Skylar veil worked beautifully together. We wish you both the very best for the future.
