Stunning Britten Bride Claire discovered her dream wedding veil during a visit to the Britten bridal boutique. After making an appointment at our Bradford-on-Avon studio, she enjoyed browsing our wedding veil collection and tried on several different wedding veil styles with 1:1 advice and guidance from our team. She eventually found the perfect match for her gown, choosing a dramatic cathedral length veil with lace motif detail to add extra show-stopping elegance to her bridal look.
Claire said 'I do' in country house splendour amidst the quaint and natural beauty of the Cotswolds. Weston based photographer, Adam Rumble, was on hand to weave together the key moments of the day through contemporary images caught on camera.
Our real bride wore the exquisite Constance bridal gown by Anna Sorranofrom WED2B, featuring floral lace details and a lace-up back. The sweetheart bodice and fishtail design of the dress created a form-fitting silhouette for a modern yet classic bridal effect, which complemented the length of the veil perfectly. Adding some sparkle to her bridal outfit, she accessorised with a delicate crystal-embellished belt, shoes from Dune London, and jewellery from Tiffany & Co.
Wearing her long blonde hair down, she opted for a side parting with soft curls before positioning our lace flower motif train wedding veil 'Amara' in place with a comb at the crown of her head. The lace detail of the veil worked with the lace overlay of the dress, tying the whole look together. She also teamed her veil with an ornate pearl and gold bridal hair comb, for a romantic finishing touch.
The ceremony and reception were held at The Hare and Hounds Hotel in Tetbury, in the heart of the Cotswolds. The glorious 19th-century country house was the perfect setting for the couple to exchange vows before mingling with their friends and family in the gardens around the property, ahead of the wedding reception in a private wing of the hotel.
Festooned with glowing white fairy lights and beautifully simple white flowers and green foliage from Evergreen Floral Design, the wedding party sat down to a traditional wedding breakfast in the woodland themed Westonbirt Room.
Continuing the countryside rustic theme, the couple cut into the three-tiered naked cake by Lisa’s Lovely Cakery, made up of a mixture of extra thick sponge layers, decorated with fresh flowers and a cute bunting-style cake topper.
Planning each detail of the day herself, Claire could eventually let her hair down properly to enjoy her first dance with her new husband to Al Green's 'Let’s Stay Together'. Inviting the rest of their guests to join them on the dancefloor, the bride and groom danced all night to Sussex-based wedding band Dirty Weekend and their music festival themed playlist.
Thank you so much for sharing these gorgeous photographs of your wedding day with us. It was wonderful to meet you at the boutique, and we love how your chosen veil worked perfectly with your gown on your special day. We sincerely wish you both happiness for your future together.
